Dining at Dar Yacout was one of the highlights of our time in Marrakech. From the moment we walked through the doors, it felt like stepping into another era. We began the evening with drinks on the beautiful rooftop while traditional Gnawa musicians performed, creating a wonderful atmosphere as the sun set over the Medina. The restaurant itself is stunning, with elegant courtyards, candlelit dining rooms, intricate Moroccan architecture, and countless beautiful details around every corner. The service was absolutely stellar. Every member of the staff was attentive, welcoming, and made us feel like honored guests throughout the evening. Their hospitality elevated what was already a memorable experience. Dinner was a multi-course traditional Moroccan feast featuring a variety of local specialties. Come hungry—there is plenty of food! While we enjoyed the meal, the ambiance, music, and exceptional service were the true stars of the evening. What makes Dar Yacout so special is that it feels like much more than a restaurant. It's a cultural experience that combines history, architecture, music, outstanding hospitality, and Moroccan tradition into one unforgettable night. If you're looking for a truly memorable evening in Marrakech, Dar Yacout is an experience not to be missed.
This is the best meal I had in Marrakech. Beautiful, charming restaurant. Attentive staff. Great wine list. And the best lamb tagine. Everything about this restaurant was perfect. I had made a mistake in my reservation and they gracefully accommodated me. Thank you.
The place is mind-blowing. It is a stunning palace with beautiful ceilings, fountains, and refined decoration. The atmosphere is really impressive, and the service was excellent. The staff were also extremely helpful. I forgot my hat, and they actually brought it back to me by bike while I was on my way to the taxi! The food portions are generous, the prices are affordable, and overall the experience was much better than the current rating suggests. This place definitely deserves a higher rating.
Highly recommended for a very special meal in Marrakech. Photos really don’t do it justice - stunning place. Definitely arrive a bit early and have a drink on the roof. It’s a fixed menu, prebook and they will do you a vegetarian or kosher version, but I also saw them do their best to make accommodations for people asking on the night. Service was spectacular. Best briouates and pastries in town.
Very special experience! We didn’t really know what to expect when we got here but the place is absolutely stunning an the service really good! The food was really good but waaay too much for our group of 3 so we felt a bit bad for not finishing half the things that were brought to us.. Overall a great experience and perfect for our first night in marrakech. Thank you
