I really loved this place as they offered fish on their menu and the server was very kind and friendly. I got the fish kebab and it didn’t disappoint. The place was also quiet which is nice especially if you just want to relax after a lot of walking and shopping.
The food was great. Portion size was quite large. Loved the salad. Grilled seafood was healthy.
It doesn’t look like much but this was probably our favourite meal of the whole trip. We had the grill sea bass and sea bream - amazing! They also gave us the lentil with cumin starter for free. With drinks included we paid 140 MAD (I think!). The waiter was lovely and very helpful.
We ordered the seafood soup, seafood salad, grilled sea bream, and fried seafood. The seafood soup was excellent and definitely my favorite! The seafood salad had a bit too much dressing, and I thought the bananas on the side were an odd addition. The fried seafood felt like it could do with more seasoning, even if it’s just some salt and pepper. The server was very friendly and helpful. A cat jumped up to a chair beside us to try to fish for food (pun intended), and the server very gently nudged it away.
if you ever go to jemaa el-fnaa, walk a little into one of the alleys and you’ll find this amazing restaurant. they started with appetizers that already surprised me. the bread was so good! even though i usually don’t like bread, this one was really nice. then our main dishes came and wow, the portions were huge! the lamb couscous was big and very satisfying, and the mixed fried platter was full of seafood with three different types of fish. definitely worth the price. after we finished eating and were just chilling and talking, they surprised us again with mint tea with a spoon of sugar, which i loved. it reminded me of teh tawar, my go-to drink back home. the guy working there was so kind, always smiling and helpful. no wonder their reviews are so high. well deserved!
