Was by myself and not the most upscale dressed son was cautious to go in….. so glad I did. I sat at the bar and order an amazing dessert and adult beverage. Live music started shortly after I sat down and was a perfect ending to one night in Casablanca.

Worth the Hype? Not Really. The only highlights of this heavily hyped restaurant were the live music and the beautiful interior décor. We visited for dinner on a Thursday evening around 8:00 PM after being told it was a “must-see” dining experience. We were initially pleased to find that bar seating was available for dining and drinks. The wine list featured the typical Moroccan selections, along with one organic (“bio”) wine option. We ordered a bottle of red wine priced at over $80, but it was served at room temperature—if not warmer—which was disappointing and significantly affected the experience. Unfortunately, the food was the biggest letdown. What we ordered: * Goat Cheese with Figs, Arugula, and Balsamic Vinaigrette – The lettuce tasted old and the salad was overly bitter. * Oysters in Champagne Sabayon – Extremely heavy, with a rich cream-and-cheese flavor that overwhelmed the oysters. * Beef Filet with Buttered Spinach and Mushrooms – The dish was dominated by a bitter olive oil taste. Overall, we were very disappointed with the quality of the food, especially considering the restaurant’s reputation and pricing. The atmosphere is appealing, but the dining experience felt geared more toward tourists than food lovers. Unfortunately, not a place I would return to or recommend.
You have to go to Rick’s if in town. We hadn’t planned in advance, but requested a reservation on the same day. They were able to accommodate us for the same night. Thank you. The atmosphere is charming. The music well played. The service helpful and professional. The staff very friendly and helpful. The food came out looking gorgeous. Tasted good. Freshly baked bread, the unique salad, and we loved how everything was played. And not to forget, the deserts were phenomenal, tasted just as delicious as they looked. It’s a pricey place, but the experience is memorable, and you can then say you have been here :) Overall a solid night out. Highly recommended. (It is possible to get a walk in and they did accommodate some folks who were standing in line. Try your luck)
Wow feels like you’re teleporting back in time!! Besides that it’s a movie set, the atmosphere here is amazing & the live band is very good 👍🏻 Makes the dinner enjoyable / complete experience for sure. You MUST book before you come & they only let you in when it’s your time so no need to come too early before your reservation time. Food was okay for me. Drinks are great! Staffs are brilliant 🙏🏻 Please dress up!! To complete the look, create an atmosphere (: & to give the location a respect 🤍
