We went to the restaurant. We don’t want to eat in the scammy places along the river. Best choice this day. Clean place, amazing food and great service. Quiet. No yelling around and amazing view.
We were hiking late in the area, during Ramadan. Kasbah d’ourika opened for us for dinner, and it was lovely! Chicken grill, nice spicing, cracking harissa. No complaints at all. Really welcoming service, it was out of season and we were the only guests, but we were made very comfortable. The room and the building is stunning.
The food was delicious, the service very attentive and the most incredible views of the Atlas Mountains. What more could one ask? This restaurant is a must when visiting the Atlas Mountains. Don’t miss it, it’s spectacular!
We were so enchanted by La Kasbah D’Ourika. Our guide gave us some lunch options and ended with, “would you like THE BEST …” which we did, and he brought us here. The food was perfection. Tagines, kabobs, soup, sampler of appetizers, and fresh bread, olives, and harissa. We felt like kings with the portions, the fragrant dishes, and the care with which our servers ensured our meal was well paced and met with our expectations. The day was quite cold and we were provided with blankets to make sure we were comfortable in the opulent dining room. The windows gave a breathtaking view of the Atlas Mountains while we dined. Desert was the grandest assortment of assorted pastries, fruits and sweets. We left with an armload of takeaway. The host was so gracious to have a fresh loaf of bread packaged and sent home with us. This was a capstone experience with a restaurant staff that curated a magnificent meal.
Beautiful restaurant. Exceptional view on the mountains. Excellent service by the attentive staff. Loved the vegetable couscous and my detox juice. 52€ for 2 big one course lunch plates including drinks, coffee and the tip we chose to add. Good value for money. No alcohol on the menu. Payment by card easily accepted.
