The local chicken dish was delicious. I also really loved the taste of the calamari. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice too.

Absolutely outstanding experience. The food was exceptional; honestly the best paella I have had outside Valencia. The octopus was incredibly tender, probably the best I have had anywhere so far. Portions are very generous as well. Overall, this place is far better than its current 4.0 rating. It definitely deserves a 5+. Highly recommended.

Visited in February 2026. Morocco 🇲🇦, Marrakech. We chose this restaurant based on strong reviews and appealing photos of seafood. As fans of Spanish cuisine, it felt like a natural choice. The restaurant is located within a hotel and features a beautiful, cozy interior. At the entrance, there are aquariums meant to showcase seafood, though unfortunately they were empty on the day of our visit. FOOD: This is a Spanish restaurant with a strong focus on seafood. We ordered grilled octopus with hummus and fideuà, a traditional Spanish dish similar to paella but made with short noodles. The octopus arrived fairly quickly and was, without exaggeration, the best octopus we’ve ever had. We have never tasted octopus prepared this well. The meat was incredibly tender, literally melting in the mouth — which is rare for this seafood. The tentacles were grilled to a perfect crisp on the outside, with a clear grill aroma, while remaining exceptionally soft inside. The hummus was also very good and paired beautifully with the octopus. The fideuà was our first time trying this dish, and it left a great impression. The noodles were perfectly cooked — loose and pleasant in texture, not mushy — and had absorbed the rich, flavorful fish broth, standing confidently as a dish on their own. The overall texture and depth of flavor were excellent. The prawns were cooked well, but this highlighted a common issue we encountered throughout Morocco: they were not cleaned or deveined. The shells were difficult to remove, and cleaning the prawns at the table was inconvenient and took away from the enjoyment of the dish. SERVICE: Service was very good. Our waiter spoke excellent English, was engaging, and demonstrated strong knowledge of both the menu and cooking techniques. The interaction felt professional and genuinely hospitable. VERDICT: We were absolutely delighted with this meal. Every dish was enjoyable, and the octopus in particular will stay with us for a long time — all future octopus dishes will inevitably be compared to it. The atmosphere, service quality, and overall execution were all excellent. Prices are very reasonable by Moroccan standards. Highly recommended for those seeking high-quality seafood and European cuisine.

My father and I recently stayed at the 2Ciels Hotel for four nights, and this restaurant is attached to the hotel, which made it incredibly convenient. The food was consistently very good, so much so that we ended up eating here for both lunch and dinner multiple times. The seafood was excellent, fresh, and well prepared, and the chicken tagine was especially flavorful. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and on some evenings there was live music, which made the experience even better. The service truly stood out. All of the waiters were friendly, attentive, and happy to assist with anything we needed. They were also very knowledgeable about the menu and great at making recommendations. Having a restaurant of this quality right at the hotel was a big plus. This is a great spot in Marrakech, and I would absolutely recommend it, even if you are not staying at the hotel!

The food here is amazing . 🙏❤️ Having traveled the world since the 70s I know a good kitchen. The squid here was some of the best I ever had. I also had room service from this restaurant- their seafood pizza and sandwiches is good. The ambience is lovely 🥰 and the staff is both professional and welcoming. I like that this place also has a bar and entertainment. It’s a great place to spent an evening. They also have very good inexpensive local wine here. If you ever need anything just ask for Mehdi in the bar, great guy he’ll take good care of you. I wish we had a place like this in my hometown.
