Upon arriving in the trekking hub of Imlil, you’ll meet your local guide and immediately feel the shift in energy the air is crisp, the peaks are calling, and the adventure is officially underway.
The first day is a masterclass in mountain beauty. You’ll ascend the Otos Pass (2084m), where the valley unfolds beneath you in a tapestry of green and terracotta, framed by the distant, jagged silhouette of the Toubkal Summit. The trail pushes higher to the Tedali Summit (2620m), offering a sense of isolation and wonder that only the high altitudes can provide. As you descend, the landscape softens into ancient walnut forests and lead you to the thundering Imlil waterfalls a refreshing hidden gem in the heart of the range. Your day concludes with the warm hospitality of a traditional guest house in the village of Ait Souka, where you gonna stay for a night.
Day 2: Ait Souka Village (1850m) - Tizi N'tmatert Pass (2224m) - Taoudja Summit (2724m) - Marrakech :
Morning in the mountains arrives with golden light hitting the valley floor. After a hearty breakfast, you’ll set out through the charming village of Tamatert, beginning a steady climb toward the Tizi N’Tamaterte pass. The terrain grows more rugged and dramatic as you approach the Taoudja Summit (2724m). Reaching this pinnacle is a moment of pure triumph; the sweeping panoramas of the pristine wilderness stretch to the horizon, leaving you breathless for reasons beyond the altitude.
The journey comes full circle as you descend back to Imlil for a deeply authentic experience: a traditional lunch hosted by a local Berber family. It is the perfect final chapter to your expedition.
