Reviews
La Maison Arabe was recommended to us as one of the best places in Marrakech for traditional Moroccan cuisine and, overall, it was a very pleasant experience. The setting is very traditional: elegant, refined and unmistakably Moroccan. If you are looking for something modern or contemporary, this is probably not the place. It has a very classic, timeless atmosphere, beautifully maintained and full of old-school charm. The chicken pastilla was very good, although personally not among the best I had during the trip. The chicken tagine, however, was excellent: fragrant, beautifully balanced and prepared with visible saffron threads, a detail I really appreciated and one that says a lot about the quality of the ingredients. Amazing the pate of olive and figs they brought along with the bread. Overall, a very good choice if you are looking for traditional Moroccan cuisine in an elegant and classic setting.
Went to the beautiful rooftop restaurant and is served by Abbas and Hossam, who is very friendly, helpful in food selection and have very witty conversation. We are treated with delicious Moroccan cuisines and some live music. Highly recommended place for group of friends that want to have a cozy time.
This was a great evening. Very friendly staff and good service. I had a lamb shoulder dish which was absolutely fantastic. As a starter the pastilla made from chicken. Also the Maroccan Shiras based wine was great. Highly recommended.
This restaurant was recommended by our riad - and we’re so grateful for it! Excellent food, presentation, service and atmosphere. It was a chilly evening but they provided ample heating on the beautiful terrace to make guests comfortable. The stuffed rabbit and the lamb shank with pears were incredibly delicious. A small selection of Moroccan delicacies was offered at the end of the meal - the only restaurant where anything was offered during our week-long stay… There was soft live music and singing that contributed to a romantic atmosphere. All in all, an evening to remember!
