The trip begins with an 8:00 am pick-up from your accommodation in Marrakech by an air-conditioned vehicle (time may vary based on hotel location or nearest accessible meeting point). The drive covers 192 km to Essaouira.
On the way, there will be several stops, including a break for coffee in Chichaoua. There is an optional visit to a local women-run Argan oil cooperative, where you can see how the oil is extracted and purchase products directly.
Arrival in Essaouira is expected around 11:30 am. You may choose to join a guided city tour or explore independently. The Medina is small and easy to navigate, with friendly locals. Key sites include the Sqala, Kasbah art galleries, and the fishing port. Water sports are also available for interested visitors.
For lunch, various restaurants are available near the square, or you can buy fresh fish inside the Medina and have it cooked at a nearby restaurant.
