amazing food with a beautiful view! is a bit pricier than other restaurants but the food is worth it and you are supporting local heritage artists!
The food is good, but the view is amazing! Take your girl on a date here, and have fun.
We stumbled upon Medina Heritage during our stay in Marrakech, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. The restaurant is tucked away on a quiet street, but once inside, you’re welcomed into a beautifully restored riad with traditional zellij tilework, a serene courtyard, and soft lantern light. The food was outstanding—truly homemade Moroccan cuisine. We shared a lamb tagine with prunes and almonds that was fall-off-the-bone tender, and the couscous royal was light, fluffy, and packed with flavor. Their pastilla (savory-sweet pie) was a revelation: crispy, spiced, and dusted with cinnamon and sugar. Everything tasted fresh and clearly made with care. Service was warm and attentive without being pushy. The staff took time to explain dishes and even brought out a small pot of mint tea on the house at the end. Prices were very reasonable for the quality, especially compared to the more touristy spots on the main squares. If you want a genuine, relaxing dinner away from the hustle of the souks, don’t miss Medina Heritage. We’ll definitely return next time we’re in Marrakech. Hidden gem with great roof top offering the perfect sunset view. Food was amazing and so were the mocktails. Mind you they do not serve wine or alcohol. We revisited the day after and staff easily found a spot for us even though we didn’t have a reservation.
Such a hidden gem, beautiful rooftop, great sunset views, amazing food and such a kind staf, we walked in with no reservation and they seated us right away, but I sugest booking a table, since it was the last free one, we had a burger (5th avenue), pancake with nutella and creme brule, everything was so tasty! We both agreed that it had better vibe and was overall better than some of the most famous rooftops in Marrakech…
