The staff were kind. The room was okay, but the traffic noise from the main high road was unbearable and kept us awake throughout the night, so we couldn’t sleep properly. The shower also wasn’t working for more than two days, then was fixed. In addition, there was constant noise from the Saloon swinging doors each time we go to the toilet or to have shower which made it even harder to rest. It was not suitable for elderly people with mobility issues. We were required to stay in this accommodation from Saturday to Friday morning because of our booking.com. We believe we should complain and receive a refund, as our stay was seriously affected. It feels like the law will not on our side, and our time in this Riad was completely spoiled. Marrakech does not seem very aware of accessibility or inclusion—it often feels like it’s all about making money. We were shocked to see how expensive the universal culture, the vibes of the city were very disappointing.
