I had an amazing one week stay! Beatiful riad with beautiful people! Even vibrant Marrakesh is in front of the door it is the calmest place to be. The team is always around for any kind of help or questions. The breakfast is delicious, every day a little bit different and more than enough. Beautiful, cozy rooms and extremly clean!
the best place I ever been, Mohammed It’s a fantastic person and He is very helpful. He also prepares a fantastic tea. The Rooms are very clean and comfortable. The breakfast follow the moroccan tradition and it’s delicious.
Wonderful stay at La Maison de la Calligraphie! The location is perfect just near the main square but down a quiet alley. This is a new riad with artful decor, super clean and a wonderful rooftop for relaxing and views of the Atlas mountains on a clear day. The breakfasts were amazing and varied and served on the terrace. Mohammed was a wonderful host, full of information and very helpful. The rest of the staff was also hospitable.
Riad Calligraphie is incredible. I thought they would all be the same but Riad Calligraphie is on another level. It is brand new and stunning! All the furnishings are modern and there are places to relax in the downstairs lounge area or upstairs rooftop terrace. From the moment I made the reservation, they communicated with me to find out when we would be arriving. Zachariah met us from our tour drop off and escorted us to the Riad. We arrived after a long day of traveling to a beautiful location. They set up tea and snacks for us and Mohammed, the manager, wanted us to know he was there to assist us. Each night we went to sleep in the most comfortable bed of our whole Morrocco trip. Mohammed greeted us each morning and escorted us to breakfast area, which is eaten on the rooftop either outside or inside. Each breakfast was prepared beautifully with every item fresh baked. Fresh juice, coffee tea, Morrocco style French toast, jams, breads, yogurts, fresh fruit and more.. While we only stayed for two nights, we felt that we were treated as well as family. The location is steps from the amazing Jamaâ El Fna square, where there are dozens of restaurants and snack places right outside your door. The Riad location is perfectly situated close to the cultural heart of Marrakech , but quiet for a good night rest. The place is new and modern with beautiful calligraphy accents all around. Mohammad and Zachariah go above and beyond to ensure you fall in love with Marrakech! We definitely did!
An absolutely magnificent stay in Marrakech! From the moment I arrived, I received a very warm welcome with tea and delicious Moroccan biscuits on a beautiful terrace, perfect for relaxing and meeting fellow travelers. The riad is splendid: brand new, decorated with exquisite taste, and impeccably clean (the floor gleams!). My room was beautiful and comfortable, with a magnificent bathroom. Everything is of high quality: the bed is very comfortable and the towels are incredibly soft. Breakfast is generous and delicious, a true pleasure to start the day off right. A huge thank you to Zakaria, Mohamed, and the entire team for their kindness and helpfulness. They took excellent care of me throughout my stay, taking the time to answer my many questions and helping me find solutions tailored to my specific needs—truly exceptional service. The location is ideal, right in the heart of the medina, a stone's throw from Jemaa el-Fna, with direct access to the souks and major landmarks.
