Nice hostel with excellent rooftop, traditional decor and good breakfast. The host Ibrahim is very nice, he let me join with Iftar to get a glimpse of Ramadan tradition which was very appreciated. The room was a bit cold as it had been raining all day, but not much they can do. The surrounding area is busy but well connected and I found the hostel easy enough to get to following Google maps. Nice hostel for price.
We had an amazing Iftar ( breaking the fast ) with Ibrahim and it was an unforgettable experience, he prepared us a lot of traditional and delicious dishes. It was the best food we ever had in Marrakech. He went above and beyond to make us feel safe and at home. Thank you so much ibrahim or as we would say “Tusen hjertelig takk” 🇳🇴
A very reasonable hostel! Hostel in the “riad” style Clean beds with curtains and lights, the shower is amazing! Best hot shower i had since i came in Morocco. The breakfast is okay (preferred if the juice was fresh) And the roof is veryy aesthetic and comfy. For a v reasonable price! Definitely would recommend it! (But just be careful it’s deep in the Medina , not in a main street, just follow the maps)
Don't go there. The Hostel is okay and the owner was really nice. But the area is very sketchy in a dark alley away from the main streets. We were aggressively harassed by teenagers everytime we wanted to get into the hostel. They would stand in front of the entry and deny us going in and we felt really threatened by that situation. They also followed us inside. Feeling bad for the owners but I'd recommend everyone to look for a safer place and maybe pay a bit more for it.
Overall nice but we slept quite badly as the aircon generators on the rooftop make a lot of noise once the air cons are in use. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice although we didnt get it the second morning because we were leaving at 9am which apparently was too early for them as the lady who prepares it comes around 9.30am or so which we thought was a bit late for a breakfast in general. We hoped that the staff could prepare something for us but it wasnt mentioned so we just dropped it.
