We’ve been here multiple times now and will probably not come back. The fish seems fresh but except for the paella the dishes are nothing special really.. you seem to pay for the atmosphere and service but both fell rather short of expectations. The place is beautifully decorated but the setting however, feels somewhat uptight as the restaurant is usually quiet and almost empty. Although close, there’s no actual sea view and little that makes the experience feel particularly special. What disappointed us most was the service. The staff often seem inexperienced, orders are frequently mixed up, and even simple requests such as “avec sucre” or “sans sucre” can get confused. There are also very few (interesting) non-alcoholic drink options. Unfortunately, we also felt treated differently from white guests. Things like complimentary bread being offered to others but not to us, together with the overall attitude, were noticeable. As (Moroccan/arab looking) Muslim expats, we are paying customers too and simply expect the same level of hospitality. The one exception is the lovely lady at the toilets, who is always warm, helpful and keeps everything spotless. May she be blessed abundantly.

The restaurant is incredible for its breathtaking view over the ocean and the mosque, as well as its delicious Mediterranean and Moroccan cuisine. Succulent seafood and shellfish platters, gratinated paella, and fresh wild fish oven-baked to perfection. An oldies music atmosphere and a live band that starts smoothly, creating the perfect vibe without overwhelming the ears.

Fantastic atmosphere to eat in, with really good food to go with it. Some of the food was better than other things on the menu, but everything ranged from adequate to really good. The service started off very attentive, but waned a bit as the visit grew longer. They do a great job of getting your orders completed efficiently. Nice location right by the ocean.
