Description
Depart from your hotel in Marrakech and travel through the old Medina toward the Ourika Valley, a region known for its Berber villages.
Stop at a mountain viewpoint to photograph the Berber villages. Visit a Berber house to observe daily life and see a traditional water-powered mill. Family members will guide you around the home.
Next, explore a women’s cooperative to learn how Argan oil and other cosmetic products are made. The visit includes an aromatic garden with medicinal plants.
Arrive at Setti Fatma, the main village of the valley, where you will meet your local mountain guide. After a restroom break, hike through walnut groves to visit the waterfalls and take photos of the natural surroundings.
Return to the valley for lunch at a restaurant by the river. Afterward, your driver will transfer you back to Marrakech.
