Description

Day 1: Marrakech to Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou to Dades Valley
Depart early from Marrakech, crossing the Tizi n'Tichka Pass, North Africa’s highest mountain pass. Visit Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO site known for its earthen architecture. Continue through Ouarzazate to explore Taourirt Kasbah before arriving at Dades Valley for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Dades Valley to Merzouga
Travel through the Todra Gorge, a dramatic canyon with towering cliffs. Pass Berber villages and Erfoud, noted for fossil quarries. Arrive at Merzouga’s golden Erg Chebbi dunes by late afternoon. After mint tea, embark on a camel trek at sunset. Spend the night in a Berber desert camp with traditional dinner and music.

Day 3: Merzouga to Marrakech
Wake early for sunrise over the dunes, then camel trek back to Merzouga. Return to Marrakech via Draa Valley’s palm groves and ancient kasbahs. Pass Ouarzazate and cross the Atlas Mountains before returning to Marrakech in the evening.
