Description

Your day begins with a 9 am hotel or Riad pickup in Marrakech by a professional English or French-speaking driver and guide. Travel smoothly through the High Atlas Mountains towards Ourika Valley, passing Berber clay houses and green valleys beneath distant peaks.

Explore the Mediterranean Tamazight cultural influence at Tnin Ourika village, including a Monday farmer’s market visit and a stop at an Argan oil cooperative to learn about this traditional Moroccan product used in cooking and cosmetics. Along the way, stop for pictures, walk through a small village, or optionally visit a local family home.

Arrive at Setti Fatma village at approximately 1500m altitude. Here, a local guide leads a moderate hike through village lanes and a designated trail, explaining Berber life. The hike’s climax is reaching seven medium waterfalls where you can enjoy the natural setting and cooler mountain water.

If you prefer not to hike, you can relax at a café with mountain views and mint tea until the group returns. Afterwards, enjoy lunch at a restaurant overlooking the Ourika River with Moroccan dishes and hospitality.
