Description

The Ourika Valley Day Trip departs Marrakech for the natural beauty of the foothills of the Atlas Mountains, about 60 km from the city. This full-day tour combines mountain scenery, Berber culture, and a moderate hike.

Your day begins with pickup from your accommodation in Marrakech, with the exact time confirmed the day before. Travel comfortably in an air-conditioned van with Wi-Fi while passing through traditional villages and valley landscapes.

The first stop is a panoramic viewpoint offering photo opportunities and sweeping Atlas Mountains views.

Visit a women’s Argan oil cooperative to learn about traditional oil production and how the cooperatives support local Berber women. Enjoy a small authentic breakfast including fresh mint tea, homemade bread, honey, olives, and Argan oil while learning about Berber daily life.

Afterward, join a 1.5-hour guided hike to the Ourika waterfalls. The trail is suitable for those with moderate fitness. Guests not wishing to hike can relax by the river at the restaurant.
