Description

The tour begins with a drive over Tizi n’Tichka Pass, the highest paved road in North Africa. You'll visit Ait Ben Haddou, an ancient mud-brick fortress known from Gladiator and Game of Thrones films. Afterward, the journey continues along the Valley of the Roses to your kasbah hotel in Kalaat M’Gouna for dinner and your first overnight stay.

On the second day, hike through the 300-meter limestone Todgha Gorges before driving east through Berber villages and desert fortifications to Merzouga. Check into a desert lodge with a pool at the base of the Erg Chebbi dunes for dinner and overnight.

Day three is free to relax or engage in optional activities like quad biking, a 4x4 desert excursion to nomad families, or horseback riding. In late afternoon, take a camel ride into the dunes at sunset, followed by overnight in a private desert camp tent featuring a traditional Moroccan dinner and evening Berber drumming under the stars.
