Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Gorges
Travel from Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains, passing Berber villages and scenic landscapes. Visit Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a historic fortress and UNESCO World Heritage site known for its traditional Moroccan architecture. Continue to Todra Gorge to see towering canyon walls up to 300 meters high, perfect for hiking and sightseeing.
Day 2: Boumalne Dadès – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga Dunes
Drive through desert landscapes including barren mountains, palm groves, and golden sand dunes. Pass Berber villages and enjoy local hospitality. Arrive in Merzouga and embark on a camel trek into Erg Chebbi dunes to watch the sunset over the Sahara. Enjoy a Moroccan dinner and Berber music by the campfire at the desert tent.
Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
Optional sunrise viewing before breakfast. Return journey through the Ouarzazate region, known for its film studios and desert scenery. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant. End the tour with drop-off at your original Marrakech departure point or Djemaa El Fna square around 20:00.
