Depart Fes early and travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane to explore its alpine-style streets, then continue to the Cedar Forest of Azrou to see Barbary macaques in their natural habitat. Drive through mountain landscapes to Midelt for a lunch break before descending into the Ziz Valley, where you will enjoy panoramic views of palm groves and traditional kasbahs. Arrive in Merzouga in the late afternoon, prepare for your desert experience, and meet your camel guide. Ride across the Erg Chebbi dunes at sunset, take photos, and enjoy the changing colors of the sand. Arrive at your desert camp, settle into your tent, enjoy a traditional dinner, and experience Berber music around the campfire under the stars.
Day 2: Merzouga – Erfoud – Todra Gorge – Tinghir (Sunrise, Canyon Walk & Oasis Stay)
Wake early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, then return to camp for breakfast. Ride back to Merzouga by camel and continue through Erfoud, known for its fossil workshops. Drive through desert landscapes and oasis valleys toward Tinghir. Visit the Todra Gorge and take a guided walk between its towering limestone cliffs, reaching up to 300 meters. Explore the riverbed and surrounding palm valley before continuing to Tinghir. Arrive in this oasis town, check in to your hotel, enjoy dinner, and relax in a peaceful setting surrounded by palm groves. Overnight stay in Tinghir.
Day 3: Tinghir – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas – Marrakech (Kasbah Visit & Atlas Crossing)
After breakfast, travel through southern valleys toward Ouarzazate, passing desert landscapes and traditional villages. Continue to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you will explore its earthen architecture, walk through narrow alleys, and reach panoramic viewpoints. After the visit, begin the journey through the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m). Enjoy scenic stops for photos of valleys, Berber villages, and mountain landscapes.
