Description

Day 1: Depart from Marrakech early morning and cross the Atlas Mountains via Tizi N'Tichka Pass. Stop for photos and refreshments while observing changing landscapes and Berber villages. Visit Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou with an optional local guide for €2.50 per person. After lunch at a local café, continue through Ouarzazate and Klaa Mgouna to the Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight at Kasbah Safari Rose or a similar hotel.

Day 2: Travel to Erg Chebbi in Merzouga after breakfast. Visit Todra Gorge with a local guide and discover Berber culture at the Cooperative Nomades in Tinghir. Continue to Tinjdad for lunch, then Erfoud and Merzouga. Prepare a small overnight bag for a camel trek into the desert dunes. Arrive at a Berber camp to watch the sunset, then spend the night in nomadic tents under the stars with live drum music.

Day 3: Watch the sunrise over the Sahara, then ride camels back toward Dades Valley. Explore the Monkey Fingers rock formations with a local guide (€3 per person). This day offers easy walking options suitable for all levels. Overnight again at Kasbah Safari Rose or similar.
