Description
Day 1: Marrakech - Tizi Ntichka - Ait Ben Haddou - Tinghir
Pick up from your accommodation or nearest point in Marrakech at 7:00 AM. Travel across the Tizi-n-Tichka Atlas pass with panoramic mountain views and visit traditional Berber villages. Continue to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, where lunch is provided. After a stop at a supermarket in Ouarzazate, proceed to Tinghir via the Rose Valley. Overnight stay with dinner and breakfast included.
Day 2: Tinghir - Todra Gorges - Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, depart for Erg Chebbi in the Sahara Desert. Pass Berber villages and notable locations including Todra Gorges, oasis areas, Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud, entering the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet. Arrive at the hotel in Merzouga and prepare a small bag with essentials for the desert night, leaving other luggage at the hotel. Enjoy a camel ride through the Erg Chebbi sand dunes ideal for photographing sunset views. At the desert camp, take part in sandboarding at the highest dunes and spend the night in Berber nomad tents with traditional drum music.
Day 3: Merzouga Desert - Marrakech
Wake early to watch the sunrise over the dunes before riding camels back to Merzouga. After breakfast and a shower at the camp, begin the return trip to Marrakech, passing various regions and Berber villages. Arrival in Marrakech is around 7:30 PM, with drop-off at your hotel or nearest accessible riad location.
