Tour Description

Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou Cedar Forest – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert
Pickup from your hotel or a meeting point in Fes at 7:45 AM. Travel south through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane for a stroll and photos, including the stone lion statue. Visit Azrou Cedar Forest to see wild Barbary macaques. Continue through Berber villages to Midelt for an optional lunch break (not included). Drive through the palm-lined Ziz Valley to Merzouga at the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes. Relax at a local Kasbah before a 50-minute camel trek to the desert camp at sunset. Enjoy dinner and traditional Saharan music around the campfire.

Day 2: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley – Ouarzazate
Wake early to watch sunrise over the dunes, then have breakfast at the camp. Visit Rissani, birthplace of the Alaouite dynasty, with optional visits to the mausoleum and market. Drive to Todra Gorge for walking and photography of the dramatic cliffs. Continue through Dades Valley, viewing rock formations and Berber villages. Arrive in Ouarzazate for dinner and overnight accommodation.

Day 3: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech
Explore Ouarzazate and visit Atlas Studios, known for major film productions. Visit UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah with time to explore and enjoy panoramic views. Optional lunch at a local restaurant (not included). Cross the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka Pass with photo stops of villages and landscapes. Arrive in Marrakech around 6:00 PM with drop-off at Jamaa El Fna Square or your hotel, if accessible by road.
