✅Day 1: Marrakech → High Atlas Mountains → Aït Benhaddou → Ouarzazate → Dades Valley.
Your adventure begins early in the morning as you leave Marrakech, crossing the spectacular High Atlas Mountains through the winding Tizi n'Tichka pass. Enjoy panoramic views, photo stops, and traditional Berber villages nestled on the mountainside. The first highlight of the day is Aït Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a fortified ksar famous for its ancient architecture and the setting for numerous films, such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones. After exploring the narrow streets of the kasbah, continue on to Ouarzazate, known as the 'Gateway to the Desert', passing through the oasis of Skoura and the fragrant Valley of the Roses. In the afternoon, you'll arrive at the stunning Dades Valley, often called the 'Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs'. Enjoy a delicious dinner and relax in your charming hotel or kasbah surrounded by a spectacular mountainous landscape.
✅Day 2: Dades Valley → Todra Gorge → Merzouga Desert → Camel excursion → Camp in the Sahara.
After breakfast, take the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs to reach the imposing Todra Gorges, a natural wonder with cliffs over 300 meters high. Take a walk through the gorge and be captivated by its beauty before continuing on to the desert town of Erfoud, known for its fossils and traditional markets. In the afternoon, arrive at Merzouga, where the vast dunes of Erg Chebbi rise majestically from the desert. There, your camel caravan awaits to take you through the golden sands as the sun sets in a spectacular show of colors. Arrive at your desert camp, where your private tent offers the perfect combination of traditional style and modern comfort. After a delicious Moroccan dinner, relax by the campfire under a starry sky while local musicians perform traditional Berber rhythms.
✅Day 3: Merzouga → Sunrise on the Great Dunes → Ouarzazate → Drop-off in Marrakech.
Wake up early to witness a spectacular sunrise over the dunes, one of the most memorable moments of your trip. After breakfast, return to Merzouga by camel or 4x4 and begin the picturesque journey back to Marrakech. Cross the Ziz Valley, with its palm groves and desert plateaus, and make a stop for lunch. As you cross the High Atlas Mountains again, enjoy the ever-changing landscapes before returning to Marrakech in the evening.
