These animals are often called Barbary monkeys, although they are macaques. Sightings depend on weather, season, and animal movement, so they cannot be guaranteed.
Observe the macaques from a respectful distance. Do not feed or touch them.
- Ouzoud Waterfalls Boat Ride
At the lower part of the falls, you may join an Ouzoud Waterfalls boat ride near the base of the cascades.
The short ride offers a closer view of the falling water, canyon walls, and spray from the main cascade. It also provides a different angle for photos from the water.
