Description
Day 1 – Marrakech to the High Atlas: You will be picked up from your accommodation in Marrakech in the afternoon or early evening and driven by 4×4 to Tassa Ouirgane, located 1.5 hours from the city. This village sits at 1300 metres within Toubkal National Park. On Saturdays, there is an option to stop in Asni to visit the weekly souk on the way back. After checking in, enjoy tea on the terrace with panoramic views, followed by dinner. Spend the evening relaxing or star watching in the peaceful village environment.
Day 2 – Discover the Amazigh way of life: Start your day early with sunrise views or a relaxed morning and breakfast. Choose from guided walks through national park landscapes, including apricot and peach fields and an old hydraulic mill. After lunch, visit the Takherkhort Reserve to spot Barbary sheep and local bird species. Later, participate in an Amazigh tannourt bread-making demonstration and try the fresh bread with organic olive oil and wild thyme and lavender honey. Evenings are free for village walks or relaxation before dinner.
Day 3 – Return to Marrakech: After breakfast, enjoy a morning walk, coffee on the terrace, or relaxation with mountain views. Pickup is late morning for your transfer back to Marrakech. You may opt to stay for lunch before departure. On Saturdays, you can stop again at Asni for the weekly souk visit.
