Your adventure begins before dawn, as you’re picked up from your chosen meeting point in Marrakech. Climb aboard a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle and journey approximately 45 minutes into the Agafay Desert, a rocky, lunar-like landscape that offers a peaceful contrast to the city.
Upon arrival at a beautifully set-up desert camp, you’ll be welcomed with a warm Moroccan mint tea, served in a traditional setting under the early morning stars. The peaceful silence of the desert and the soft breeze set the tone for a magical experience ahead.
Next, you’ll be dressed in a traditional nomadic cheich and mount a camel for a 30-minute ride across the desert terrain. As you sway gently with your camel’s steps, the first rays of sunlight begin to illuminate the rocky dunes, painting the sky in hues of gold, orange, and pink.
