Description

Escape the bustle of Marrakech and discover the beauty of the High Atlas Mountains on this unique 3-day Mount Toubkal adventure. Unlike the standard itinerary, this experience includes an extra acclimatization day to help you prepare for the climb while exploring the spectacular landscapes around the village of Imlil. On Day 1, travel from Marrakech to Imlil and enjoy a scenic 5-hour guided hike through traditional Berber villages, walnut groves, and mountain trails, reaching an altitude of around 2,700 meters. After the hike, spend the night in a comfortable guesthouse in Imlil. On Day 2, begin the classic Mount Toubkal trek with your local mountain guide. Hike through the Mizane Valley to the Toubkal Refuge (3,207 m), where you'll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay before your summit attempt. Rise early on Day 3 to climb Mount Toubkal (4,167 m), the highest peak in North Africa. From the summit, take in breathtaking panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains and, on clear days, the Sahara Desert. Descend to Imlil after the summit and return to Marrakech with unforgettable memories of your adventure. This itinerary is ideal for hikers who want extra time to acclimatize, enjoy more of the Atlas Mountains, and maximize their chances of reaching the summit comfortably.
