Description
Day 1: Marrakech to Aït Bouguemez
Depart from Marrakech into the Middle Atlas landscapes. Arrive at the spectacular Ouzoud Waterfalls, explored at carefully selected hours to avoid crowds. Walk along olive groves and hidden viewpoints.
Continue through scenic mountain backroads into the peaceful Aït Bouguemez, known as the “Happy Valley.” Enjoy a guided walk through traditional villages, visit local souks (if market day), and participate in a tea ceremony with a Berber family.
Meals included: lunch (picnic), dinner at guesthouse

Day 2: Aït Bouguemez to Vallée des Roses
Spend an exceptional off-road day crossing the wild landscapes of the M’Goun massif. Travel through high-altitude plateaus, remote tracks inaccessible to most tours, and untouched valleys and grazing lands.
Encounter nomadic families in isolated areas, share tea and learn about their lifestyle, and explore ancient collective granaries (igoudar). Enjoy a scenic outdoor picnic in nature before arriving in the beautiful Vallée des Roses via Boutghrar.

Day 3: Roses Valley to Merzouga Desert
Begin with a morning exploration of the Valley of Roses, including kasbahs, gardens, and local life. Continue to the dramatic Gorges du Dadès and enjoy a guided hike in the famous Monkey Fingers canyon, away from busy viewpoints.
Proceed to Todra Gorge, visiting at quieter hours. Arrive in Merzouga and enjoy a camel ride across golden dunes at sunset. Try sandboarding (optional) and capture the sunset with your camera.

Overnight: luxury desert camp
Day 4: Merzouga to Ouarzazate
Watch the sunrise in the desert followed by a relaxed breakfast. Take an optional 4x4 desert exploration to visit nomadic camps, fossil fields, and black desert landscapes.
Drive through the scenic route of Nkob, known for its kasbah architecture, then continue to Agdz and the lush Draa Valley. Visit traditional kasbahs, walk through palm groves, and make cultural stops in small villages.

Overnight: riad or kasbah in Ouarzazate
Day 5: Ouarzazate to Marrakech
Visit the iconic ksar of Aït Benhaddou early in the morning, before the crowds. Continue via the hidden mountain route through Telouet, visiting its historic kasbah and crossing the High Atlas. Return to Marrakech in the afternoon.
