Description
Step inside the legendary ruins of El Badi Palace, once a symbol of immense wealth and royal power, and explore a site that reflects the rich history of the Saadian dynasty.
Built in the late 16th century by Sultan Ahmed al-Mansur, El Badi Palace was originally designed to showcase extraordinary luxury, featuring Italian marble, gold decorations, and intricate craftsmanship. Although much of the palace has been reduced to atmospheric ruins, its scale and grandeur are still clearly visible today.
Walk through its vast open courtyards, sunken gardens, and towering walls, and imagine the former splendor that once defined this royal residence. Climb to the top of the ancient walls for breathtaking panoramic views of Marrakech, including the Koutoubia Mosque and the Atlas Mountains in the distance.
The palace also hosts storks nesting on the ramparts, adding a unique and natural touch to your visit. Capture your favorite moment inside El Badi Palace and receive a beautifully designed souvenir postcard.
(If option selected) Explore the rich culinary traditions of Morocco at the Moroccan Culinary Art Museum in Marrakech.
