5-Day Toubkal Mountain & Sahara Desert Tour
Starting from Marrakech
Day 1 – Marrakech → Imlil → Toubkal Refuge
Early morning departure from Marrakech to Imlil. Meet the mountain guide and mule team in Imlil, then start the trek through Berber villages and the Mizane Valley towards the Toubkal Refuge. Overnight at the Toubkal Refuge, with dinner and breakfast included.
Day 2 – Toubkal Summit → Imlil
Early morning ascent to the summit of Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa. Enjoy the panoramic mountain views, then descend back to the refuge for breakfast before continuing down to Imlil. Overnight in Imlil.
Day 3 – Imlil → Dades Valley
After breakfast, meet the driver and travel from Imlil through the High Atlas Mountains. Continue towards the Dades Valley, enjoying the landscapes and villages along the way. Overnight in a hotel or riad in the Dades Valley, with dinner and breakfast included.
Day 4 – Dades → Merzouga → Sahara Desert
Continue the journey towards Merzouga, passing through desert landscapes and the Todra Gorge area. Arrive in Merzouga and enjoy a camel ride through the dunes of Erg Chebbi around sunset. Continue to the Sahara desert camp, where you will have dinner, local music and spend the night in your Luxury Tent.
Day 5 – Sahara Desert → Marrakech
Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise over the Sahara dunes. After breakfast, leave the desert and begin the journey back to Marrakech, crossing the desert and High Atlas landscapes. Arrival in Marrakech in the afternoon/evening, marking the end of your 5-day Toubkal and Sahara adventure.
