Description
Discover the highlights of Morocco on a 5-day luxury tour from Marrakech. Visit the verdant valley of Dades Gorges, the Todra Gorges, and the Sahara Desert. Enjoy camel trekking, sand-boarding, and a nights in a desert camp.
Day 1: Marrakech - Ouarzazate - Amridil Kasbah - Boumalne Dades
Start your tour with an 8:00 am pick-up from your hotel in Marrakech and travel towards the verdant valley of Dades Gorges. Drive through the Atlas mountains and over the Tizi N’Tichka pass at 2,260 meters, which offers spectacular panoramic views of mountains, valleys, and colorful Berber villages
Travel south of Morocco to Ouarzazate. Then the road continues south towards the S’koura palm grove where nearby, explore Amridil Kasbah.
Then Kalaat M’Gouna, the town of roses, after Dades Valley, where you will spend the night at the hotel.
Day 2: Boumalne Dades - Todra Gorges - Erfoud - Merzouga
After breakfast, take a short distance to Todra Gorges, where you may take a stroll and see the Gorge’s steep sides and the sky above it. From there, continue to Erg Chebbi.
In Erfoud itself, stop to see the workings of thousands of fossils made into all sorts of artifacts. Have lunch along the way. Then drive to Merzouga toward the camp, where you will have dinner and sleep in the Erg Chebbi at Luxury Desert Camp.
Day 3: Merzouga (Stay in the Sublime desert)
If you can get up early enough, you can enjoy the sunrise spectacular, when the color of the dunes and the shadow play are amazing to see. During your stay at the bivouac, you will have a private luxury tent. It also includes desert activities, camel trek from Merzouga to the camp in Erg Chebbi at the evening, and Sand-boarding at Erg Chebbi. After dinner, We gather around the campfire to sing Berber music under a sky full of stars. Sleep at Luxury Desert Camp.
Day 4: Merzouga - Rissani - Tazarine - Agdez - Ouarzazate
Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes before having your breakfast, then the itinerary continues to the Draa River, via the village of Tazarine (featured in the film Babel), passing by N’kob.
We will have lunch somewhere along the way, and in the afternoon, discover the real Draa Valley with its huge palm trees and ancient villages. Then Agdez, at the head of the Draa Valley.
Visit the Tamnougalt Kasbah, after which you will cross the Anti Atlas (1700 M), reach Ouarzazate overnight at a Riad, dinner & breakfast.
Day 5: Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou - Telouet - Marrakech
After breakfast, head to the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, the fortified Ksar with its beautiful Kasbah. Ait Benhaddou has served as a natural backdrop for many movies produced by many producers. Cross the river to the other side to discover the Ksar with us.
Then the drive continues to the Telouet Kasbah, which belonged to the Lords of the Atlas, which now stands in ruins and guts, then the road continues to Marrakech via the High Atlas mountains, where our special Morocco luxury tour will end .
