On the first day, depart from Fes and journey south through Ifrane, often referred to as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” and the cedar forests near Azrou, home to wild Barbary macaques. Continue through the Ziz Valley and palm groves before arriving in Merzouga at the edge of the Sahara Desert.
In the evening, enjoy a sunset camel ride through the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi before arriving at your desert camp. Enjoy dinner, traditional Berber music around the campfire, and an unforgettable night beneath the desert stars.
Wake early the next morning to witness the sunrise over the dunes before continuing your journey along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. Visit the dramatic Todra Gorge and pass through the stunning Dades Valley and Rose Valley on your way toward Ouarzazate.
On the final day, visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most famous fortified villages and the filming location for numerous movies and series. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass before arriving in Marrakech in the evening.
