Description

Discover different shaping techniques in an authentic Moroccan pottery workshop. Sculpt your creation as it turns on the traditional potter's wheel and master the technique of molding. Begin with a 15-minute demonstration before trying hands-on modeling. Create a cup, box, or tagine, or try wheel throwing with the pottery machine. Then, take a break midway to enjoy a refreshing cup of tea. Throughout the class, make several pieces on the potter's wheel and in modeling. After the session, you can take your creations with you in a practical bag. Let them dry at home for a day, then paint them once they have hardened. If you are staying in Marrakech for at least six days after the workshop, you can have your pieces fired.
