Description

Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazat – Zagora desert Pick up from your accommodation in Marrakech. The drive takes you crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n Tichka way, reaching its peak at 2260m. The stunning landscape of this mountainous region is breathtaking for the traveler. The route takes you to your first stop Ait Ben Haddou village, an area built on the historical fortresses of Ksar and beautiful Kasbahs. Lunch in a local restaurant in the town. In the afternoon, the journey will take you toward the Draa Valley, which involves passing the gateway of Tizi N’ Tnifift (1710m), which historically is the famous route for caravans, the Sahara traders from Tumbuctoo. The landscape is ever-changing as you cross traditional villages, Kasbahs, and explore one of the largest palm oases in the Draa valley to the Zagora desert—camel ride to your desert camp. Dinner, campfire, live local music under bright stars, overnight stay in the desert camp. Day 2: Zagora desert – Marrakech Early wake up for sunrise, breakfast then transfer to Marrakech.
