Description

We will meet you outside Argana Cafe at 8:00 a.m. or pick you up from your hotel/riad. We will take a 3 hour drive to the beautiful city of Essaouira on the Atlantic coast. Along the way, you will photograph goats climbing Argan trees, visit a local women's cooperative and learn how some fine cosmetic products are made locally from rich Argan oil. Once you arrive in the port city of Essaouira, you will explore the beautiful city and its beach at your leisure. You will have time to enjoy the charming tourist sites of Essaouira, including its white walls, the beautiful Moulay El Hassan square, the port with its fishing port and its old Portuguese fortifications, the souks and the beautiful little streets of the old medina of the city. Enjoy a lunch of seafood or vegetarian cuisine at a local restaurant. You will leave Essaouira around 4:30 p.m., arriving around 8 p.m. in Marrakech.
