The location was great! It was so aesthetic. If we will go there at night or sunset it would be much more nicer with the lights! The food was not really asian taste. I ordered Tomyum, i think they put cumin in it so it’s mote moroccan/asian taste. But still good. The virgin mogitos are great! 😊

The most delicious beef with caramelized apple dish we’ve had all trip. We are still talking about this meal! The courtyard is so beautiful and romantic. We almost came back 2 other times because it is really that good and that lovely.

We wanted to visit Bacha Coffee at Dar El Bacha Museum, but was informed it would be a 4 hour wait and seemed very crowded. Then hidden away we found "M" Bacha in a side street, like most of the Riads in Marrakesh doesn't look like much from the street until you step inside, a stunning courtyard with mature orange trees and a fountain. No wait, it was very quiet. We already had dinner elsewhere so stopped for desert and coffee iced raspberry cheesecake stunning

MAGICAL... WITH A TWIST The first time we went there, it felt like a place out of Arabian Nights: an impeccable setting in a traditional courtyard, with wooden Islamic windows and frames, draped in delicate, flowing fabrics, and dotted with orange and lemon trees and bougainvillea throughout. Atmospheric lighting added the final touch, creating a truly enchanting scene. The contemporary element came from the music: it felt like a sophisticated lounge. The food was not out of this world but very good. HOWEVER, and here´s the twist, we went a second time, during the day. The food was still good, but the place looked different. We could now see things that had escaped us the night before: plastic plants, tables perhaps too low for comfort and music had turned into muzak. Food was still good but, once you pay attention to the visuals, it does take away from that magical first impression. Ultimately, a more careful curation of the space would elevate the experience significantly.

This cafe is the real deal, before Bacha coffee was bought by the TWG group of Singapore. Came to the El Bacha museum at 11 am morning. Requested a waiting number immediately. Maitre’d quoted a four hour wait time. But we had a table in 2 hours. Food was exquisite and service was excellent. You don’t feel rush at all and can soak in the elegant atmosphere. With more than 200 selection of coffee I was also blown away by how good the coffee was. I prefer mine black rather than adding the whipped cream. This is not the same type of coffee you get at El Bacha stores. It’s much better! Worth the visit when you are in Marrakech. Wait for your table while touring the museum.
