We’ve just returned from a wonderful 5 night stay at the Ksar Fawz. It was our first time visiting Marrakech and when there are so many accommodation options available, it’s hard to know where is best! For us, we wanted to be inside the city walls and experience a traditional riad stay. Ksar Fawz caught our eye when browsing online and we are SO glad this is where we stayed. Perfectly situated in the Kasbah, within walking distance of all the sights and attractions but tucked away down a quiet alley it was a moment of calm amidst the (beautiful) chaos of the city. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome, warmly greeted and seated for check in with a mint tea and biscuit. Our room was traditional in style, and beautifully appointed. The air conditioning was most appreciated! There was ample storage space and a sofa to sit on, the shower and bathroom amenities were super. Breakfast was an absolute feast, served with care and attention and clearly prepared with love. We ate dinner one evening on the roof terrace and it was fresh, tasty and delicious. With views of the sunset and being the only ones dining ‘in’ that evening, it felt like a VIP experience! The dipping pool is perfect for cooling off after exploring the souks and the chairs/beds were all comfy with fluffy towels available to use. But what REALLY stands out about our stay is the service. Every single member of staff was SO friendly, nothing was too much trouble, everyone took the time to chat to us, ask about our day and offer recommendations. You do not stay here to feel like a lost number in a big hotel, you become part of the family for a few days and it only enriched our Moroccan experience. Thank you to all of the wonderful team, from housekeeping to kitchen, to all the front of house (and of course Malika the cat!), I cannot recommend a stay here enough!
The most beautiful place! Staff were so sweet and the place was a calm oasis in the middle of the Medina. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Marrakech. Thank you to everyone there who took great care of us. We hope to be back one day!
I loved this place, the staff is kind and helpful, they went above and beyond when they found out it was my birthday. Thank you for the well wishes, the decoration and the flowers ❤️😁 The location is beautiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable. I was looking forward to the breakfast each morning, and would also recommend having dinner! Yes you can go out, but you don't need to go anywhere if you wish to have a tasty meal! And lastly and repeatedly I would like to praise the staff 🙏🤝👏
My family and I stayed at Riad Ksar Fawz & Spa. We felt warmly welcomed from the very beginning. Someone was available around the clock and they were happy to help with any request. The Riad was clean and a true oasis of well-being for us. The breakfast was also excellent. The staff was very friendly and interested, and they were happy to share stories about their culture and lives. We loved the location! We really got a feeling for the atmosphere of Marrakech. Tanemmirt!
We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Ksar Fawz. The staff were super attentive. HICHAM, MOHAMED and JAMAL HAMID took very good care us! Marjorie was super helpful with check in and our transfers. And of course, our wonderful cook Layla made the best authentic Morroccon cuisine! Love this place!
