Description

Atlas mountains and ourika valley day trip. Pick up from the Hotel in Marrakech around 8:30 in the morning for a 30 minutes drive. The first stop it will be in a old berber village called tafza village. 19ct. We will stop for pictures in the beautiful landscape. The second stop it will be in a berber woman community. or berber woman cooperative of the argan oil. They will give you cup of tea for the hospitality and they will give you all the informations about the argan three and argan oil. After that. We will continue our driver through the tnine ourika. where a weekly market takes place every Monday, then to sit Fatima (1,740m). Ourika valley is set in the upper level foothills of the Western High Atlas mountains. a main trailhead trekking tours to mt Toubkal and to other valleys. by the way , mount Toubkal is the highest peak in North Africa and in morocco. Once we get to ourika village we will leave our vehicle to meet our local guide prior to going to start hike. We walk towards the gorgeous and waterfalls passing the hamlets. we see the jagged Western High Atlas peaks of the Toubkal massif before us. Then, we continue trekking down until the stop for lunch at a beautiful spot at the river .It is really an amazing atlas mountains day trip. After lunch we will meet the driver to drive back to marrakech. Drop off at the Hotel in marrakech. end of the day trip of the atlas mountains, and we hope to see you next time on another adventure.
