Just 60 km from the city, this refreshing day trip offers a perfect blend of natural landscapes, authentic Berber culture, and immersive discovery. Scenic Drive into the Heart of Nature Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Marrakech, winding through stunning landscapes of red hills, terraced fields, olive groves, and traditional Berber villages set against the backdrop of the Atlas peaks. Every turn reveals a breathtaking view — perfect for photos and peaceful reflection. Meet the Berber People and Their Traditions Upon arrival in the valley, discover authentic Berber villages and experience a way of life that has remained unchanged for centuries. Accompanied by a knowledgeable local guide, learn about Berber history, customs, and hospitality. It’s a genuine connection with Morocco’s living heritage, far from the usual tourist routes. Visit a Women’s Argan Oil Cooperative Stop at a local women-run cooperative where the famous Moroccan argan oil — known as “liquid gold” — is handcrafted using traditional methods. Watch the extraction process, learn about its cultural and cosmetic importance, and support sustainable craftsmanship that empowers local Berber women. Hike to the Setti Fatma Waterfalls One of the day’s highlights is a gentle guided hike to the Setti Fatma waterfalls. Walk along the river, cross small wooden bridges, and follow scenic trails to reach the refreshing cascades. Surrounded by greenery and mountain air, this is a moment of pure serenity and adventure. Optional Lunch by the River Enjoy free time for a traditional Moroccan lunch at a riverside restaurant (optional, not included). Taste authentic tagines, fresh salads, and homemade bread served with mountain views — a perfect pause before your return journey. A Day for All the Senses Throughout the day, your senses will awaken — the aroma of mountain herbs, the sound of flowing water, the colors of the valleys, and the warmth of Berber hospitality. This is a day to slow down, connect, and breathe in Morocco’s natural charm.
