In this bicycle tour, Pikala gives you the experience of discovering Marrakech differently. We train Moroccan youth to give you more insight into Moroccan daily life and real Moroccan Culture. What You’ll Experience: Traditional Moroccan Bakery : Step inside a local bakery, watch bread being baked in a clay oven, and taste fresh Moroccan bread while learning about its role in daily life. Moroccan Tile Workshop : Meet artisans and see firsthand how the world-famous zellige tiles are made, a tradition that has decorated Morocco’s palaces and mosques for centuries. Royal Palace Gardens : Pass by the beautiful public gardens surrounding the Royal Palace (Dar El-Makhzen) and admire its impressive architecture from the outside while learning about its importance in Moroccan monarchy and history. Traditional Hammam : Visit a Moroccan public bathhouse and uncover the rituals, traditions, and social role of the hammam in daily Moroccan life. Modern Marrakech (Gueliz & Hivernage): Cycle through wide boulevards, trendy cafes, and luxury hotels to see how Marrakech balances tradition and modernity. The tour is a cultural and personal introduction to get a better understanding of Moroccan life. Last but not least, it's great fun! Other things to note Casual clothes in which you feel free and comfortable. Be careful with long dresses or skirts! Moroccan traffic is organized chaos.
