Description

After being picked up from your accommodation in Marrakech, begin your day with a scenic drive towards the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains. Your first stop is the enchanting Anima Garden, a lush artistic paradise created by Austrian artist André Heller. Stroll through pathways lined with exotic plants, vibrant flowers, and larger-than-life sculptures by renowned international artists. Take in the tranquil atmosphere and enjoy panoramic views of the mountains from the garden café. Next, continue deeper into the Ourika Valley to visit a local saffron farm, where Morocco’s most precious spice is cultivated. Learn about the meticulous process of saffron harvesting and enjoy a cup of saffron-infused tea in a peaceful garden setting. Depending on the season, you may also see the vivid purple crocus flowers in bloom. In the village of Setti Fatma, enjoy a traditional Moroccan lunch at a riverside restaurant. The cool shade and soothing sounds of the river make it a perfect spot to relax and savour local flavours, such as lamb tagine, fresh salads, and homemade bread. After lunch, embark on a light hike with a local guide to explore the famous Setti Fatma waterfalls. The area is known for its refreshing streams and picturesque views, making it a popular escape from the city. By late afternoon, begin your return journey to Marrakech, passing through Berber villages nestled along the valley.
