Description

Embark on a life-changing 3-day journey from Marrakech to Merzouga, where every mile draws you deeper into Morocco’s soul — across dramatic mountain passes, ancient kasbahs, and vast golden dunes. Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Boumalne Dades Begin your adventure with a scenic drive through the High Atlas Mountains, winding along the breathtaking Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Visit the famous UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou — a majestic clay fortress that has stood for centuries. Let the silence of the surrounding valleys guide you to Boumalne Dades, where your first night awaits in a charming mountain hotel surrounded by rose fields. Day 2: Dades Gorge – Todra Canyon – Merzouga Desert Camp After breakfast, continue through the surreal Todra Gorge, with its towering red cliffs that seem to touch the sky. As the landscapes shift from rocky gorges to rolling dunes, arrive in Merzouga — the gateway to the Sahara. Here, meet your camel caravan and ride through golden dunes under the setting sun. At your desert camp, enjoy traditional mint tea, dance to Berber drums under a canopy of stars, and sleep in your private tent under the vast desert sky. Day 3: Merzouga – Erfoud – Middle Atlas Mountains – Marrakech (or Fez) Wake to a peaceful sunrise and the call of the desert breeze. After breakfast, begin your return through the palm-filled Ziz Valley, stopping in Erfoud — famous for its fossils and dates. Cross the Middle Atlas Mountains, and arrive back in Marrakech (or Fez) by evening, carrying memories that will stay with you forever.
