Description

Start your surfing adventure early in the morning in Marrakech where the driver will pick you up and take you on the 2-hour drive to Essaouira. Arrive at the local tour operator’s water sports store where you will meet your guide for the day and get kitted out with all the necessary equipment. Then, head onto the beach for a 2-hour surf lesson, where the real fun begins! If you’re a beginner, your guide will first help you focus on how to balance and pop up from your board to your feet. Learn about understanding the waves and how to catch the right wave at the optimum moment for good surf. Then, it’s time to work on your posture and stance to extend your ride on the board. If you’ve already got some surf experience, the lesson will be tailored to your level. Explain to your instructor the level of surf experience you have and then focus on your objectives for the session to perfect your skills. After this, there is some time to relax and enjoy a lunch break at the beachside. Find some delicious food at restaurants next to the surf school. After your break, head back into the water to improve your surf skills for another 2-hour surf lesson. Depending on whether you want to explore Essaouira town or not, agree with the driver what time suits you best to head back to Marrakesh.
