Description

Begin with pickup at your accommodation in Marrakech, then take a scenic drive to the little Berber village of Ouirgane. Ask your guide to stop for photos or simply to take a break whenever you want. Upon arrival in the Ouirgane Valley, hike around the vast ancient forest of Ouirgane, passing many other Berber villages as you go. Admire trees that can grow up to 55 meters in height, including the Atlas Cedar, the Algerian Oak, and the Black European Pine. Learn about the varied local fauna from your guide and if you're lucky, you may get to see some of the rarer creatures that live in the region. Throughout the hike, enjoy the beautiful landscapes and ask your guide any questions you have about the local culture. After the hike, enjoy an optional visit to the local argan oil cooperative.
