Description
From Marrakech to Fes, you can go on an amazing three-day trip that takes in the beauty of Morocco's mountains, oases, and Sahara desert. Learn about UNESCO heritage places, Berber culture, and exciting things to do in the desert. Marrakech, Aït Ben Haddou, and Tinghir on the first day. Get up early and drive through the beautiful Tizi n'Tichka Pass to cross the High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, take a break and take pictures of the view. You should see the Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its traditional earthen construction and appearances in movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Keep going through Ouarzazate and the Valley of the Roses until you get to Tinghir. Have dinner and spend the night in a lovely guesthouse there. Day 2: Tinghir, Toudgha Gorges, and the Merzouga Desert (Quad Ride) After breakfast, you can visit the beautiful Toudgha Gorges, which have steep rocks that rise above a palm oasis. Keep going through Erfoud on your way to Merzouga, which is the entrance to the Sahara Desert. When you get there, take an exciting quad-bike ride across the golden dunes and take pictures of the vast desert at sunset. Spend the night in a cozy camp in the desert. There will be food, Berber music, and a lot of stars. Day 3: A trip to Merzouga, Midelt, Ifrane, and Fes Get up early to see the sunrise from a camel ride across the hills before breakfast. Leave Merzouga and head north through the Ziz Valley, which is surrounded by sandy plateaus and palm trees. Keep going toward Midelt, which is between the Middle and High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, you'll pass through cedar woods near Azrou, where wild monkeys live. One last stop in Ifrane, which is known as 'Little Switzerland' in Morocco. In the evening, you'll arrive in Fes, and your driver will take you to your hotel. This three-day group trip is the best way to see all of Morocco's beautiful scenery, from the Sahara Desert to mountain passes and old kasbahs.Includes
