One of the worst service experiences I’ve had, but easily THE best tajine I’ve tried in Morocco. The food was absolutely outstanding, but the service was unbelievably slow and disorganized. I had to wait 20 minutes just to place my order, and the ladies at the next table waited almost 30 minutes, even though the place wasn’t really busy. Definitely something that could be improved.
We visited MY TAHER on a Monday evening during Ramadan, drawn by its strong TripAdvisor ratings. The restaurant offers a traditional Moroccan menu, and we opted for a selection of classic dishes. The overall experience was solid. Service was attentive and efficient, and despite the busy evening atmosphere during Ramadan, waiting times were perfectly reasonable. The setting is lively and fits well with the surrounding area, making it a convenient choice for dinner nearby. In terms of food, the quality was acceptable, though not outstanding. The dishes were well presented, but we found that some of the flavours lacked depth and could have benefited from a more generous use of spices, especially given the richness Moroccan cuisine is known for. All in all, a reliable and convenient option if you are staying in the area and looking for a straightforward Moroccan dinner, even if it does not fully live up to the expectations set by its online ratings.
The food her was incredible, we came here on the last day of our trip and we’re truly disappointed that we couldn’t go back for another meal. The prices were good and I would 100% go back
