Cosy, relaxed atmosphere, good prices, tasty food. Yes, the service is a bit slow, but it lets you hang out for longer, enjoy the atmosphere. The waiters are really trying hard. Went to other higher rated places (Nomad, DarDar- everything was so rushed that we went out in less than an hour with 3 courses and a bottle of wine) but came back to this place again. Great for sunset watching. Live music with all time hits. Doesn’t need booking. No dressing up required, not for instagram, just for normal laidback people ☺️
Arrived around 6:30pm without reservation but secured a table on the front edge of the lower rooftop. It is much quieter than the main square rooftop bars but with just a nice a view of the sunset and higher rise buildings. The beers were lovely and cold, the food delicious and the staff friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend a visit!
This is a terrific bar/restaurant inside the Medina (that serves alcohol). After climbing the stairs you emerge to 2 rooftops with terrific views - especially of a nesting pair of storks. The service is very relaxed and slow, as others have indicated; however, I never felt rushed to clear out so that others can sit the several times I visited. The 2 appetizers I had were yummy and fresh. The staff are all warm and friendly and there is a constant flow of people in/out and waiting for tables. The slowness of the service was not an issue for me as I am on vacation and loved that I was allowed to sit, relax and enjoy the energy/vibe of the Medina without feeling rushed.
Kosybar Rooftop is a fantastic spot to unwind after exploring the Medina. The views over Marrakech are incredible, especially at sunset, and it’s the perfect place to watch the city come alive from above. The atmosphere is relaxed and stylish, with plenty of seating and a cool, chilled vibe. Drinks were well made and reasonably priced, and the staff were attentive without being intrusive. If you want a combination of great views, good drinks, and a calm escape from the bustle below, Kosybar Rooftop is a must-visit.
Food and drinks were good. The building, its decor and location are stunning. The toilets were an absolute mess. The staff were awfully slow and seemed to be unaware that it is their job to attend to the guests. We wouldn’t bother going again.. Oh and apart from things like the waiter repeated reaching over us whilst we were eating to serve other people, ignoring us and serving tables around us, the final cherry on the cake was asking to use our phone to add up the total bill ..
