I had a wonderful stay at Riad Melhoun & Spa. Everything exceeded my expectations. The rooms were spotless, beautifully maintained, and the entire place had such a warm and relaxing atmosphere. What really made the experience special was the incredible hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to make everything easy and comfortable throughout my stay. A special thank you to Ahlam at the reception. She was genuinely kind, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Honestly, she was one of the biggest reasons my first impression of Marrakech was so positive. Her warmth and professionalism made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. Thank you for the amazing hospitality and for creating such a beautiful place. I truly enjoyed my stay and would happily recommend Riad Melhoun & Spa to anyone visiting Marrakech.
We had the most wonderful stay at this riad. From the moment we arrived we were treated like family with refreshments and warm smiles. The riad is absolutely stunning, giving an authentic Moroccan experience. We were orientated in detail to Marrakesh and staff were always available for queries and questions. We highly recommend staying here! A special thank you to all the members of staff - Mohammed, Ahalam, Nour, Abdul, Ahmed and Jamal. We will treasure all the conversation we had with you all. From the moment we stepped inside this beautiful riad we felt like we had a home in Marrakech. We arrived very early from the US and were invited to relax in the serene environment. Amed welcomed us with a big smile and warm greeting. Within a few minutes he had a beautiful, full breakfast with much needed coffee prepared for us . We dined next to the beautiful courtyard pool . After breakfast , he explained in detail what this historic Riad had to offer and let us know he would help us with any tours , reservations or requests that we may have . Our room was ready soon after that and we found it to be spotless , efficient , and most of all , gorgeous. The staff made us feel like welcomed guest in their home . The meals at Riad Melhoune were crafted with the same attention to detail and high standards . All food was fresh , made to order, and very carefully thought out . Traditional Moroccan dishes , fresh fruit and vegetables, and never the same meal twice ! We could not have asked for better quality ingredients and preparation. Amed and his wonderful colleagues arranged for us to experience the best of spa treatments. They were really special. The staff arranged high quality tours with very knowledgeable guides and any transportation we needed . I would like to name the staff members as they all played a role in our unforgettable first ( but not last) trip to Marrakech. As mentioned above , Amed was the one who set our expectations high as he was so gracious from the beginning, Ahlam, Moohamed, Jamal and Abdoul all offered their own individual touches to our stay . All very kind , capable , interested , and above all , accommodating! The Riad itself was designed and decorated with incredible attention to detail . It was such a welcomed refuge from the never ending activity of the Medina . We will return to Marrakech and our only choice for lodging will be Riad Melhoune ❤️. Thank you all so much ! If names like Muhammad, Ahlam, Jamel, Abdul, and Ahmed stay with us, it’s because we’ve just returned from our first trip to Marrakech — and these are the wonderful people who welcomed us like family and made us feel truly at home, away from home. The riad and its team were absolutely charming, with genuine care and constant attention to detail. Our hammam and massage experience was amazing and made our anniversary trip even more special and memorable. The food felt homemade and was very reasonably priced. Our room was a little small, but clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained by the staff. A special thanks again to the entire team — kind, helpful, and always welcoming. They struck the perfect balance of being warm and attentive while remaining professional and never intrusive. A beautiful place, in a great location, with easy access to the main area of Jemaa el-Fna. We would happily return.
We stayed at this riad for 3 days and 2 nights, choosing it mainly for its excellent location—and it did not disappoint. The property looks exactly as shown in the photos, which was reassuring, and the overall atmosphere made for a very pleasant stay. The reception staff were incredibly helpful, offering great local recommendations that enhanced our trip. We especially enjoyed the complimentary Moroccan breakfast each morning—it was delicious and a lovely way to start the day. The rooftop was another highlight, with a beautiful setting that we found perfect for relaxing. As we had an early train to Casablanca, we really appreciated that the staff kindly prepared a takeaway breakfast for us. They also arranged our transportation for a reasonable fee, which made everything much more convenient. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would happily recommend this riad to others.
