Absolutely amazing hotel in Marrakech. This former ambassadors home has been beautifully converted to a welcoming and charming hotel. All of the staff in the hotel are simply amazing, polite, talkative and knowledgeable, and very very helpful for their guests. The hotel is located in a very nice area with several restaurants close by and also a Carrefour supermarket 10 mins down the main road. A short 15 min walks gets to to the centre of the action in Marrakech,or for those that would rather take a taxi, it's a few minutes for a reasonable 50 to 100 MAD. The concierge on the front desk 24/7 can assist you with every need you have from extra toiletries, pool towels , booking day trips with their preferred and trusted taxi drivers and directed you where to go to visit in the centre. The pool area is clean and well maintained, with an abundance of birds joining you making this a very special place. Yes , the hotel is old and maybe requires some more TLC, but thats just what makes the character of this hotel stand out amongst the others in the area. There is a road closest, which can get busy, but does not cause any disturbance. Breakfast is really good and is provided via a set menu consisting of fresh orange juice, your choice of eggs, Moroccan pancakes, pastries, bread rolls with jam, tea and coffee, make sure to get up early to grab an outside table. We stayed in room 305, which is at the top of the hotel boasting 2 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room and a terrace/ balcony that was actually just as big as the internal space...whichnwas large. Highly recommended.
Old world classic charm with outstanding decor in the public areas. Rooms are air conditioned and very comfortable. The Red House is a 20 minute walk to the main centre through a lovely park. The most outstanding aspect of the hotel is without doubt the wonderful staff. Everyone without exception were friendly and helpful, making our stay unforgettable. Thank you all.
Red House is a very special place . I first came around 2012 and it was always serene very restful place to return to . The rooms are large and spotless Rashida is wonderful and the wonder man Abdel makes your stay very special with his knowledge of everything Moroccan and the world . I will always return . It’s that special .
Perfect proximity to new city and old Medina walls whilst still having a nice footpath all around, very safe and convenient neighbourhood. Really stunning grounds and beautiful architectural building. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, breakfast was incredible. Would love to stay again. Only one slight drawback and it didn't take away from experience at all, some of the water jets on showers were stuck with limescale. Could do with some maintenance. Otherwise, the most incredible stay and would certainly be back.
Beautiful hotel and excellent service, would definitely recommend!!! Staff are really friendly and attentive. Recommended a great day out and some lovely restaurants. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit!! Also, the breakfast is really good. Honey pancakes every morning, choice of eggs, served with bread and croissants.
